About Me

First and foremost, thank you for visiting The Daily Struggle. If you have landed on my blog, you are probably a college student looking for advice and tips on how to be successful in college. You may also be wondering who I am, and what makes me qualified to give such advice and tips.

To begin, my name is Charah. I am 21 years old, I was born in Durham, NC, but now reside in Greensboro, NC. I have one older brother a twin sister. All throughout grade school, I was a student who made good grades and participated in extracurricular activities, such as football, baseball and track. Upon graduating from high school, I wasn't so sure if college was for me, so instead of going straight to college, I elected to join the military. I am currently in the National Guard for my home state of North Carolina. After returning from basic training, I immediately enrolled in college for the following fall semester at Gardner Webb University. After a semester there, I enrolled at North Carolina A&T State University, simply because I did not have the necessary funds to attend the previous school mentioned. I major in computer science, and plan to be a software engineer after graduating. It is during my time at these two schools, where I have obtained skills to help make college less stressful, and more meaningful. My fellow peers would often ask me how I made college seem so easy. Rather than just keep those skills to myself, I created The Daily Struggle to help college students in the same shoes as me be more successful in college. I hope you are able to find all the advice you are looking for, and if not, please do not hesitate to get in contact with me, and I will be sure to assist you to the best of my abilities.
